Sexual Health Therapy
Sexual health goes beyond understanding your STI status and preventing unintended pregnancy. When you achieve your vision of sexual health, consent, honesty, safety, mutual pleasure, non-exploitation, and shared values are defined, and your behaviors reflect your vision. For those struggling to align behaviors and values, sexual health therapy could be for you. If you feel your consensual sexual behaviors are out of control, you are motivated to improve your sexual health, or identify as compulsive or addicted, engaging in a sexual health assessment to determine treatment options could bring the relief you are seeking.
Sexual health treatment is for men who identify as heterosexual, gay, or bisexual who’ve experienced consequences as a result of their sexual behaviors. Common consequences include problems in your romantic relationships, sexual urges, thoughts, or behaviors that feel out of control, financial or legal problems, problems at work, sexually transmitted infections, problems managing your relationship to drugs or alcohol, and unintended pregnancies.
Groups are forming for those who are motivated to regain sexual behavior control, want to strengthen their relationships, and achieve their vision of sexual health. To join the group, you must engage in an assessment to determine eligibility. Regardless of joining a sexual health group, you will leave the assessment with a clear sexual health plan.
